SEND Teaching Assistant

SEND Teaching Assistant – Full time or Part Time (minimum 3dpw)

Location: Camden

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £95-£110 per day (experience dependent)

This is an exciting SEND Teaching Assistant opportunity to join a school where staff work collaboratively to pride themselves on creating a supportive environment for both their students and staff. Parents are supportive, allowing for a strong community spirit within the school.

The successful candidate will:

• Be caring, enthusiastic and patient
• Have good communication skills, literacy and math’s skills
• Have the ability to work as a team and be a team player
• To assist the teacher as a SEND Teaching Assistant raising achievement of all children
• Be able to support children with learning, social and emotional needs in class, in small groups and on an individual basis
• To support children’s learning and to share in the care and wellbeing of the children throughout the school

Candidate Essentials:

• Educated at GCSE Standard including Maths and English (Grade A-C) or a demonstrable level by test
• Has to have at least 1 year experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant
• Experience of supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH
• Hold a current First Aid qualification or willingness to engage in training
